Cats: Not recommended. Alternatives such as catnip, also known as catmint, are commonly used for cats instead.
Dogs: Commonly prescribed to treat digestive conditions, including canine flatulence, gas, bloating, nausea, diarrhoea, motion sickness and bad breath. Dried leaves can be mixed into the food or it may be given as infusion with water. Nutritious dietary addition and its antimicrobial properties can assist the treatment of gut infections.
