Chamomile has anti-inflammatory, mild antimicrobial, calming and antispasmodic properties, which can aid with skin irritation, digestive problems, muscular cramps and overall reduce inflammation whether taken internally or externally.

Cats: Small quantities of infused herbal tea can help calm and destress your cat or aid it with digestive problems and cramps. For irritated and inflamed skin or eyes a damp cloth can be used for gentle soothing. Also used for ear cleaning to provide an anti-inflammatory, calming and skin soothing emollient.
Caution: For cats, high doses in cats or ingestion of the chamomile plant itself may cause diarrhoea, vomiting, loss of appetite and irritated skin around the mouth.
Dogs: Chamomile can help dogs with anxiety and stress, but is also beneficial to ease gastrointestinal problems, including gas. It can also be applied directly to the skin to relieve skin inflammation and irritation of all kinds. Additionally, it has been used as a mild de-worming and anti-parasitic agent, which may be particularly helpful as a preventative.
Rabbits: Dried Chamomile is a great dried Natural Forage which is 100% Organic to add to your rabbits or guinea pigs hay pile every day or spread around the enclosure. Feed all treats sparingly.
Horses: Horses can benefit from the calming effects of chamomile to help reduce stress, anxiety, irritability and nervousness. It also helps sooth digestive ailments, including colic. Anti-inflammatory action render it useful internally, but also to assist wound healing and sore eyes. Known to reduce allergic responses.
