Catnip is sedative which generally promotes relaxation and sleep. Its soothing effect can aid with digestive problems, such as cramping, colic and indigestion. Useful remedy for respiratory infections and headaches. Anti-inflammatory properties can be applied externally to relieve swelling and arthritic and rheumatic pain.
